Schull Planetarium is always glad to welcome
group bookings (Minimum 15 for adult group rate), and has
developed considerable expertise in ensuring that such shows
are enjoyed to the fullest possible extent.
The Planetarium auditorium has fire and safety clearance for
up to 70 people, and every effort will be made to accommodate
groups up to that limit. Group audiences have ranged, in the
past, from Spanish school children to experienced University
Astronomy societies. Our rate of satisfaction among departing
groups is very high. We always appreciate being informed of
any special needs or desires at the time of booking, and
always go the extra mile to ensure that the show presented is
accessible to all, and appropriate to the level of our
audience.
The Planetarium has also proved a popular destination for
school tours, and our younger audiences are fully catered for.
Since the Planetarium is the only one in the Republic of
Ireland, we are very happy to take groups of children and feel
a definite responsibility to educate and interest the young.
