| Friends of Bantry Hospital recently purchased a Cardiac ultrasound machine (also known as an Echo machine) for the hospital. The introduction of this new machine has greatly reduced the ultrasound waiting list for outpatients. Previously outpatients would be waiting up to 6 months. This is now down to 1 month. Inpatient ultrasounds are now taking place on a daily basis. |
